  1. Sam and CathyFox seem spot on, interesting info from AH too. We really mustn’t expect too much. The fact that these scandals have been systematically suppressed for decades tells you much.

  2. Here we go then. Hold onto your hats, its going to be interesting. And if it doesn’t get interesting then its time to up the ante.

Time to Mount the barricades and batten down the hatches…all seems Greek to me

Believe she was a Governor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. So she is familiar with the subject of this enquiry

simon dancuk mp has a realistic take on this in that to get on with the job and setting the parameters is urgent and if a deeply established figure is chair it is perhaps best that they do not have a background in child protection .
some of the panel are interesting .i had never heard of lantern ,jay seems an obvious choice etc etc .

the terms and powers will establish intent.
informed and assisted access to registry( including the sealed files) is a must in relation to quite a few aspects of a proper inquiry that is intended to expose the truth and prevent further harm.

    • If you are referring to ‘The Registry’ limited and controlled access only and then only to those that can be relied upon to proceed wisely, in short a dead f*****g loss.

if you are correct that it will be limited and controlled rather than the inquiry can follow the leads and will be assisted to find the relevant evidence it will indeed be a sham.

According to the BBC News website, “Ms Woolf, 66, is an expert in energy markets and has advised many governments and the World Bank on privatisation and energy reforms.” Should be useful.

having had a quick look at what is online about her background it seems she is a safe pair of hands in terms of her city/ business background/diversity platform/charitable interests etc etc.
there seems to be nothing noted that indicates an obvious conflict of interest(unlike the last appointee)so i suspect she has been very thoroughly vetted to avoid any simple embarrassing revelations.

in business she seems to be capitalist with a fluffy surface and is politically acceptable to the rich and powerful (lord mayor etc etc ).

how she intends to conduct this inquiry is a bit hard to predict but she seems to be a skilled corporate lawyer and political player.
i spose it really depends if her intent is to expose or conceal the truth , the brief and powers she demands and is granted in the inquiry parameters will probably give an indication of her intent and the intended scope of this inquiry.

this is pre fame in this context so possibly accurately answered

A woman unconnected with and independent from the machinations of UK power would have been infinitely better.

    Lord Mayor of London?
= safe pair of hands (regardless of this lady’s personal integrity, she has nonetheless proven herself to be acceptable to the banksters, money launderers and puppet masters who pull the politicians’ strings.)

Addendum – are we getting to the point where we need to call in a UN investigatory and disciplinary team…? (I am serious.)
