Pingback: Leon Brittan – Interview with Tim Tate on BCFM, 23/1/15 | Alternative News Network
Yet again the establishment are bringing out these cases as they still no its going on and most are still alive, but they wont do anything about it,and ask yourself why??? these crimes are going on as I type thos and still those in top government/police wont do a thing
I really must sign up to Twitter methinks there are disputes abroad!
Can we just clear this point up please? Britton was an MP until December 31st 1988 when he kicked upstairs to the Lords in the New year’s Honours list. Ergo, unless it was 1989 when he was stopped at customs then he was still an MP.
oh well at least he cant grass me up now.
I’ve just heard what the TORY ELECTION SLOGAN is going to be :
” Vote Conservative, we’ll reduce inflation
Then rape your kids
While we rape the Nation…”
I can see why you are FalseFlags.
The Election Slogan is “Vote Conservative/Labour/LibDem/UKIP we’ll make cuts while raising tax for the masses and cutting taxes for the Corporates, we’ll increase immigration to drive wages through the floor, we’ll fight any war that the U.S. and Israel tell us to and we’ll also rape and murder your kids”
Found it! I found that article in The Telegraph, by David Barrett, Tim Tate and Christopher Hope, where I first read a claim that the Elm Guest House child victim – now an adult living in the US – had confirmed Leon Brittan as an abuser: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/10950138/Westminster-paedophile-ring-allegations-Scotland-Yard-detectives-trace-victim.html
“Scotland Yard has tracked down a child at the centre of an alleged 1980s Westminster paedophile ring who has implicated a senior political figure, The Telegraph can disclose.
The man – now in his 40s, whose identity is known to this newspaper – is a successful entrepreneur based in the United States and has given a detailed account of how he was assaulted by the politician.[ LIES! ]
However, the alleged victim – who was initially willing to co-operate – has so far refused to make a formal statement to British detectives”.
“Police are understood to have sent a United States investigator to interview the victim of alleged abuse at Elm Guest House, in Barnes, south-west London, who is now a successful businessman in his early 40s in the east coast US.
A US law enforcement officer, who had recently returned home after concluding a secondment to the Fernbridge team, was asked to interview the man on Scotland Yard’s behalf earlier this year.
The alleged victim is understood to have named the senior figure. [Bullsh*t] During his original interview in 1982 the child referred to his abuser working at “the big house” [no, he didn’t], which detectives believe was the Houses of Parliament.
The US officer reported back to Scotland Yard that the alleged victim was “ready to spill the beans” [more lies] and advised them to travel to America immediately to conduct a formal interview.
But by the time travel plans had been arranged, the man had changed his mind for unknown reasons and refused to co-operate, The Daily Telegraph understands”
“Fernbridge detectives also interviewed a retired police officer who was involved in the original Elm Guest House investigation and who interviewed the alleged victim at the time.
This newspaper understands the retired detective was reluctant to go into detail about why information about the politician was not included into witness statements at the time or submitted into evidence as part of a potential prosecution. [No, he was “reluctant” to be bullied into stating that the boy said anything at all about an “Uncle Leon” – because that is a lie!]
His reluctance, which appears to reinforce the case for an amnesty, is understood to have stemmed from the policeman’s fear that he could face disciplinary action, or other legal implications, or lose his pension”.
Nonsense! This whole storyline is so obviously fraudulent…I don’t know what to say. I really believed there was a sincere campaign to uncover and comprehend the truth, but it is becoming more & more clear to me that the campaign has really been about constructing a web of lies that would justify FRAMING an innocent man for crimes he never committed. I’m just shocked that so many respectable and respected persons publicly support all of this – not least of which being Mark Williams-Thomas and Tom Watson. OMG!
The real story: Lee Towsey never mentions Carole Kasir’s son, which means he was probably never at Elm Guest House and the whole “little queen” story is another of Fay’s fabrications. Kasir’s son was taken into care because his parents were convicted of “keeping a disorderly house” and judged to be unfit parents on that basis. Fay might actually have been “at the police station”, but he was never a real social worker, so more likely he was there as a friend of the Kasir family. The boy never said anything about “uncle leon” or “the big house”, so there never was anything mysteriously omitted from the police report. Op. Fernbridge probably did make contact with him, as an adult living in the US, and no doubt he simply refused to talk to them. Someone decided to take advantage of his total disinterest in discussing the subject with anyone, by falsely claiming that he had “made a full statement” and “named the politician” but later “changed his mind and refused to co-operate”.
Not for the first time you have made serious and defamatory allegations without adducing any evidence to support them.
For the record the story was not in any way “fraudulent”, nor was it part of “a web of lies”. I know because I interviewed the detective personally.
You, by contrast, state unequivocally that the boy referred to in the story “never said anything about Uncle Leon or the big house”. How do you know this ? Were you there ? If not, please withdraw – and apologise for – your grossly offensive allegations.
Does anybody want the boy’s 1982 arrest sheet? His name redacted of course but not the others on it.
No problem, Tim, with extending an apology for any offense I may have caused you or any disparagement that you or anyone else may feel that I’ve cast upon you. My apologies.
Also, apologies to Gojam and his commentors. I don’t doubt YOUR comittment to uncovering the truth, and this blog has been an oasis of objectivity compared to most other discussion of these matters.
My hostility appears mis-directed in the previous rant. It was not inspired by nor intended for you or the article you contributed to, Tim. Your journalism is informed by your own interviews, which is indeed praiseworthy. It was poor judgement to use the Telegraph article to illustrate my point, rather than the Express article.
It isn’t the story that you related, that I’m calling fraudulent, Tim. I believe that you’ve related what the detective told you. It is the story the detective related to you, that is transparently fraudulent for me. It is Chris Fay’s conspiracy fantasy story, with a few embellishments that appear to prove his story, but don’t actually. Funny that everyone so easily calls Fay a fantasist, except in relation to the “Uncle Leon” & “big house” story, which no one questions because they all WANT so much for it to be true. Here’s the version from the Telegraph: “Police are understood to have sent a United States investigator to interview the victim of alleged abuse at Elm Guest House, in Barnes, south-west London, who is now a successful businessman in his early 40s in the east coast US.
“A US law enforcement officer, who had recently returned home after concluding a secondment to the Fernbridge team, was asked to interview the man on Scotland Yard’s behalf earlier this year.
“The alleged victim is understood to have named the senior figure. During his original interview in 1982 the child referred to his abuser working at “the big house”, which detectives believe was the Houses of Parliament.
“The US officer reported back to Scotland Yard that the alleged victim was “ready to spill the beans” and advised them to travel to America immediately to conduct a formal interview.
“But by the time travel plans had been arranged, the man had changed his mind for unknown reasons and refused to co-operate, The Daily Telegraph understands”
And a competing version from the Express, related by Mark Williams-Thomas: . “Following the Savile exposé in 2012, Elm Guest House was investigated again, properly this time – an investigation that remains ongoing under the name Operation Fairbank.
“In 2013, officers travelled abroad to see the potential victim. This person is now an adult but was aged ten when the alleged abuse occurred.
“The man now lives in the US and, prior to travelling to see him, the British police asked the local sheriff to visit and speak to him.
“The sheriff confirmed the man was prepared to make a statement and name Leon Brittan as his alleged abuser.
“Local police added they felt his account was credible. Yet between the time of the local police speaking to the alleged victim and the British police flying out to see him and take a statement, he changed his mind”
If Brittan had lived another five years, whose second-hand testimony would have been related at his trial – that of the “US law enforcement officer, who had recently returned home after concluding a secondment to the Fernbridge team”, or that of the “Sheriff and local police”? It wouldn’t matter, because neither one is reality. But nobody cares if it’s reality or not, because everyone “knows” the 1980’s rumors were true and that Brittan is guilty, guilty, guilty no matter what.
In that 1967 interview, he’s about as camp as a Cub Scout Jamboree! He’s but the tip of the iceberg- who ISN’T a paedophile at Westminster?
My thanks for the kind and generous response.
The problem is that, for reasons I don’t understand, you conflate this specific story with Chris Fay’s wider fantasies.
Am I missing something ? Does Mr Fay have any particular involvement in this particular part of the saga ? Her certainly did not play any role whatsoever in my work on the Telegraph piece; nor do I believe that he was involved in the original interviewing of the young boy (again, if someone has evidence to the contrary, please let me know).
In fact, since the police officer I interviewed believed that Fay was both given to making up stories and had played a significant part in creating the overall climate of misinformation being peddled by Exaro and the Express, it would seem unlikely that the same policeman would rely on him for anything in the version of events he gave to me.
As to Mark Williams-Thomas: I don’t know if he has done any independent research on this. His recent venture into the saga seemed merely to re-hash that which others had written. If he has done his own investigative work I would be most interested to see some evidence of this.

Can Chris get an OBE or MBE with his ‘conviction’? He above all others deserves one when this is all over. We know you know don’t we Chris…
The DT before it put out the paper copy of the Leon @Dover story 4/7/14 put it online. They gave a date of 1987 for the incident. That detail subsequently disappeared from the online version. Any reason why?
