See below – Chrisb is absolutely right. But dear old Norman Lamont played some tennis with Felicity too. Thought he was completely straight. So why feature Lamont? – not a name I’ve seen connected to this particular scandal.
Another reason why I doubt it is Lamont is because he had a lowly position in government at the time. He was Financial Secretary to the Treasury. It is the 4th most significant Ministerial role within the Treasury. Not cabinet by a long shot.
