Extracts From The Jay Report: Child G (Police Referrals Not Followed Up.)

Capture

5.29 Child G (2007) went missing twice in quick succession when she was 14. Referrals were made by the Police to children’s social care but these were not followed up. She was then groomed and raped by a predatory male who was later convicted and sentenced. There was serious concern that she was at risk of suicide around the time of her rape and the subsequent court case. The case was kept open during criminal proceedings, but closed thereafter with no record of the outcomes for Child G, who was then 16 years old.

Readers might find details of Sir Ian Horobin;s life interesting. He was an M.P. for Oldham and served a prison for indecent assaults on boys .
A great friend of many famous people.
