We’ll have to wait and see if this has further consequences. Is he alleged to have acted alone ?
It looks like my own speculation about a possible plea bargain earlier in the year is miles off the mark.
Ex-BBC broadcaster Stuart Hall has appeared in court facing 15 charges of rape and one count of indecent assault involving two girls.
The allegations relate to girls aged 16 or under and are said to have taken place in Greater Manchester and Cheshire between 1976 and 1981.
He sat in the dock at Preston Crown Court as future hearing dates were set.
The next appearance at court will be on 28 February, when he is expected to enter a plea.
Tip of the iceberg. Lots of paedophiles to follow and some high ranking VIPs too. That is, if the word ‘JUSTICE’ means anything in the UK.
Disgusting and Perverted
Will Lancashire Police investigate the ‘ex MP who is now a Lord’ referred to in the letter sent to Jasmin Alibhai Brown?
*cough*
I hope you’re not suggesting that a peer of the realm has questions to answer concerning the ‘activity’ of Stuart Hall ?
Probably not.Like Cyril Smith, they only get named when they’re gone.
Arrest the ‘ex MP who is now a Lord’ and it gives the green light for allegations against other senior politicians.
Like the photo!!!
i have to a bit sceptical about this why waite till after the conviction.
ssurly they could of come foreward while he was awiating trial.
Hi nuggy,
At least one allegation of rape was made at the time and left on the books- http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-22379286
Because Hall pleaded guilty to the sexual assault charges those victims didn’t need to testify in court which saved them from a great deal of stress.
I think it’s a good thing that the rape charges are being dealt with separately.
