Confirmation Of Independent Story.

It’s taken me two months to get confirmation of this story from The Independent on Sunday [21st July] but I’m now in a position to confirm that it is true. Confirmation that a file had been passed to the CPS regarding a “former senior cabinet minister” did not come from anyone connected to The Independent on Sunday.

I’d like to specifically draw your attention to the first paragraph which I’ve quoted below.

I hope that it should give some indication of the tenacity of the Op Fernbridge team in pursuing certain individuals.

A former senior cabinet minister is now the subject of a rape allegation currently being considered by the Crown Prosecution Service. Police investigating possible child abuse at the Elm Guest House in West London have submitted a file on the former minister, and the CPS is expected to come to a decision over the matter during the summer. The claims are not believed to relate to the abuse of minors at the guesthouse, and the alleged victim was over the age of consent.

…”For the wheel’s still in spin and there’s no tellin’ who that it’s naming,
For the loser now will be later to win.. there’s a battle outside it’s ragin’,
It’ll soon shake your windows and rattle your walls
For the times they are a-changing..”

  2. This a bit like Yewtree Strand Theory wherein they created Savile & Others and then whatever tit-bits they eventually came up with had nothing to do with Savile. Now it’s happening with Elm Lodge. Pack of cards and everyone’s a joker.

  3. Well, the speed in which the police came bang a bang banging on my door after I RECIEVED abusive email from one of the cover uppers of abuse (apparently its now a crime for a victim of cyber crime to recieve abusive emails rather than the other way round) really contrasts with the slowness of the Elm Guest House arrests.

The summer is over and there is no mention of the CP’s file containing allegations about child abuse.

Not sure how this demonstrates tenacity in relation to elm guest house?

    • Maybe it’s the tenacity of the idea of Summer.

The reference is to the tenacity of the police officers involved in Operation Fernbridge. That does not include the CPS. Relatively junior officers cannot force the CPS to take up a case, if senior politicians, judges and/or police officers are putting pressure on the CPS not to do so.
