One of the things we are all starting to learn recently is that ‘gay’ is Tory code for paedophile. The last sentence has been highlighted because those who have seen the Mary Moss documents will have already realised that there were an awfully large number of Conservative paedophiles who were not only members of parliament but also of the old GLC and local councils.
It would be great if genuine homosexuals would publicly distance themselves from these paedophiles. At the moment they are being used to shield these men.

In fact f**k this, I’m really angry now. Apart from rich children who are sent to public schools by their parents for the express purpose of learning to manipulate the population for position and financial gain the statistics clearly show that the majority of children abused in institutions come from extremely disadvantaged backgrounds and that is precisely why they are in care. They often have a very distorted sense of their own worth and are prime targets for filthy pedophiles or they are captive to them, as the case of remand homes. And when educated middle class people like Tatchell write this sort of patronizing crap without referencing the fact that so much child/adult sex as he obliquely terms it is institutional or the victims are from very low socio economic backgrounds and are usually already confused about what affection means.
Whilst reading these blogs and information resource links I have been solidly struck and left wondering about how much of the abuse seems to be homosexual to the point where the revolting Graham Ovendon really stood out for his indecent behavior with little girls. Yes let’s lobby the gay community for a much stronger stance on pedophilia and a promise to whistleblow on any member that indulges in pedo activity. I can’t help wondering if century upon century of repressed homosexuality in Britain has led to repressed gay men abusing young boys who in turn abuse more young boys (with public schools, where our bloody rulers are primed and turned out being the ideal breeding ground for this repulsive carry on) and so it went on untill Britain’s gay culture has become a warped and shadowy place. Funded university studies into this please. I’m not interested in saving anyone’s feelings there is clearly something very badly wrong in British gay culture and it’s their responsibility to deal with it. I’m only interested in protecting children. And Tatchell is clearly stating in the 1997 article that friends of his, who are not named and do not seem to offer corroboration in this article had sex with adults between the ages of nine and thirteen, that they, these friends of his consented to this at those ages and that it brought them joy. Yes he says it brought them joy. I have always been very irritated for no real reason by Tatchell but I will now watch him like a bloody hawk. Can these friends of his now come forward and corroborate this? Funny by the way how people like Tatchell on the one hand reference the practices of still quite primitive or obsolete cultures to justify pedophilia but by the same token I’m sure they would be appalled by your average young white boy from Surrey adopting the attitude of Jamaican rap artists that they admire and spouting off in the street about batty boys and homos or what would Tatchell say to the perhaps very justifiable eighteenth century practice of putting men who were found having intercourse with adolescent boys in the stocks? I’m sure there is a far better argument for that than his flimsy drivel about a tribe in Sambia.

‘Most paedos are gay’- yeah really, I should remind everybody here that most paedophiliac activity takes place within the home with abusive parents, and the majority of the abuse is ‘straight’ or heterosexual- though why on earth these classifications mean a damn I don’t know- a raped kid is violated by any form of unwanted sexual activity or penetration regardless of the gender of the attacker. Though it’s interesting to note that nobody here seems to be alive to the fact of female paedophile abuse- in the home, in nurseries and in schools. Domestic child-abuse is probably just as, if not more difficult, to root out than the paedo-rings, elite or otherwise, but no less important to deal with.

I don’t think political persuasion has anything to do with it. Look at Peter Tatchell, formerly Labour now Greens affiliate, famous gay campaigner. He is now campaigning to have the age of consent lowered to 14 years old. In light of his 1997 letter to the Guardian, reproduced in full below, I am deeply concerned about this. I am also concerned that all his 30,000 followers on Twitter may not be aware of his views on “sex involving adults and children” as expressed in this letter. Mr Tatchell has recently been very keen to stress how much he is opposed to pedophilia. Read his letter and judge for yourselves.
I too find the silence of the gay community deafening regarding pedophilia and the very convenient idea of lowering the age of consent to facilitate it. I invite any campaigner, gay or straight, who advocates a lowering of the age of consent to “decriminalize” children, to provide me with figures for the number of consenting 14-15 year olds who have taken their similarly aged boyfriends/girlfriends to court so far. I’ll be surprised if they find any.
The letter to the Guardian, dated 26 June 1997, is reproduced in full below. It was written in response to the publishing of a book with some “interesting” views on sexual abuse, or “sex involving children and adults” as some campaigners prefer to call it.
ROS Coward (Why Dares to Speak says nothing useful, June 23) thinks it is “shocking” that Gay Men’s Press has published a book, Dares To Speak, which challenges the assumption that all sex involving children and adults is abusive. I think it is courageous.
The distinguished psychologists and anthropologists cited in this book deserve to be heard. Offering a rational, informed perspective on sexual relations between younger and older people, they document examples of societies where consenting inter-generational sex is considered normal, beneficial and enjoyable by old and young alike.
Prof Gilbert Herdt points to the Sambia tribe of Papua New Guinea, where all young boys have sex with older warriors as part of their initiation into manhood. Far from being harmed, Prof Herdt says the boys grow up to be happy, well-adjusted husbands and fathers.
The positive nature of some child-adult sexual relationships is not confined to non-Western cultures. Several of my friends – gay and straight, male and female – had sex with adults from the ages of nine to 13. None feel they were abused. All say it was their conscious choice and gave them great joy.
While it may be impossible to condone paedophilia, it is time society acknowledged the truth that not all sex involving children is unwanted, abusive and harmful.

Hang about, this letter is 16yrs old, and I’m sorry, Tatchell has given a very full explanation of his position on paedophilia now, not nearly two decades ago. There’s many a right-wing website aiming to smear him, a left-winger, presumably to divert attention from the paedos in the Establishment. In my opinion, the British have an incredibly warped, repressed idea of sex generally, and that contributes to the distorted psychologies that produce paedophilia, take Sex-Ed to start with, why is the Establishment so keen not to teach it intelligently (say, like the Dutch do) thus cutting teen pregnancies, huge rates of STI’s,peer-pressure sex between kids, teens and young adults and perhaps in the long-run the rape of adults.
It really doesn’t matter what the age of consent is, if informed consent is never given- rape is rape, abuse is abuse and sexual assault is sexual assault, for all ages, naturally those crimes committed against children are more abhorrent, for many reasons, but a number on a piece of paper somewhere won’t stop some nonce from fiddling a child somewhere…
Does it matter how old the letter is? It’s clearly a call for adults to have sex with under age children by lowering the age of consent.

Yes, I warned my son of Conservative Associations within Universities having older gay men hanging around the youngsters, but let’s face it – it’s not limited to the Conservative Party. Janner, Cyril Smith – it seems our political masters have long had a yen for younger blood. My own MP always has two pretty 18 + boys hanging around him at the hustings debates – different lot every hustings for the last 15 years. But my MP is well into his late 50s. No one ever mentions it publicly.
Whatever was going on is still going on – but with more discretion and they’re all playing together.

As @incubusblog has said below, Peter Tatchell has never advocated adults having sex with children. He does not support this. He says adults should NOT have sex with children. He has never advocated the abolition of ages of consent. He has said that if young people of similar ages have sex below the age of 16 they should not be prosecuted, providing they both consent and there is no coercion, manipulation or exploitation.

This would, for example, end the criminalisation of two 15 year olds, while continuing to prohibit sex between 15 year olds and 50 year olds.
Even then, I would favour a reduction to 14 only if it was backed up with assertiveness training and earlier, better quality sex and relationship education in schools, to help young people make wise, responsible sexual decisions, including the choice to not have sex.”

I am a great supporter of your blog but the term “gay is tory code for paedophile” is still too blunt and simplistic. The argument that gay people have a duty to publicly distance themselves from paedophiles is rather putting the cart before the horse. To get politicians ( of any party) to admit there are members amongst their ranks who abuse children is going to take enormous pressure and will only happen if the msm start covering these issues and bring it to the attention of the wider public.
