OP Yewtree: New Arrests Soon ?

After carefully reading the details in the news story below and comparing it with my Op Yewtree: List and TimelineI have to conclude that there was only one ‘Entertainer in his 80s questioned under caution last November.’

In a separate development, a second entertainer who was quizzed under caution in November on similar allegations, is also set to be formally arrested.

The man, in his 80s, is believed to have written to one of his alleged victims to express regret.

A source close to Scotland Yard’s Operation Yewtree inquiry said: “The latest big name to be arrested will be a real shocker to a lot of people. He’s not somebody you would have associated with this sort of thing. The other celebrity will be even more of a surprise.”

Are they going to name these individuals when/if they are arrested ? As you argued very well in your article about Stuart Hall , making names public enables other victims/witnesses to come forward. Or does the Leveson effect mean they will be allowed anonymity ?
Don’t know what to make of the man in his eighties writing a letter to his accuser, an admission of guilt ?

    • I certainly will. And if you read this post and follow the link you’ll see for yourself who one of them is.

Cause its an admission of guilt writing to his accuser – I would imagine very therapeutic to the abused – you don`t fuck/abuse/kids – once childhoods fucked life is fucked – kids did not ask for unwarranted abusive behaviour – but at least this guy in his eighties is saying/insinuating `fair cop`

  2. They are really stalling with the big guys on all of this – thinking the public will be satisfied with a few ‘live’ household names and ‘Mr Big’ goes scott free yet again

  3. They’ll probably wait for the Parliamentary Summer recess if it turns out to be a politician–No comment, play it all down..By the sound of it the bloke in his 80s has been caught bang to rights- and he’s already looking for the Judge’s sympathy (on his brief’s advice…)

still he has had his collar felt – `no age` or time limit to justice – deterrent to future abusers? very debatable me thinks

      • `no age` or time limit to justice’ – Don’t be so sure, I’ve seen this argument used for elderly paedos before (can’t remember who it was now dammit), with all this talk of ‘historic abuse’ -although on the continent, they’re still bringing Nazi war criminals to court…

yes but only cos certain individuals of a certain culture. religion whatever are pushing the Krauts. Nothing to do with guilt or innocence there

      • Oh, you mean the French then? I’m sure for the relatives of the Oradour Sur Glane massacre it has nothing to do with culture to see the murdering scum of the SS tried for their crimes. Idioten.

Can you tell who it is yet?

Plod and the parliament, the entertainment industry, BBC will wait it out. Arrest a few nobodys and a couple of has beens. That, sadly, is what they are up to
