I just watched the revolting Edwina Currie being interviewed on C4 news by Krishnan Gurumurthy, and frankly he gave the equally unpleasant Quentin Tarantino a harder time over violence in his films last week…His feeble attempts to make Currie squirm over her appointment of Savile as boss of Broadmoor were laughable. Any journo worth their salt would have brought up Sir Peter Morrison as an example of Currie turning a not-so blind eye to a rampant predatory paedophile, whereas she claims she was hoodwinked by the devious and ‘clever’ Savile. Utter hogwash.
To be fair to Edwina she had a lot on her plate at the time not least shagging the Prime Minister and then using the experience to flog her book years later. Revolting individual.
If things were not bad enough, you just HAD to bring to mind the image of Edwina and Major in full sexual congress.
